Since we’re all certified (or perhaps just certifiable) comedy nerds here, it’s a pretty safe assumption to say that we love talking the ins and outs of what makes for outstanding comedy. It comes as great news then, that stand-up dynamo Bonnie McFarlane, a proud pledgee of the comedy nerd collective, will be hosting a new Web series that tackles the front lines of all things modern and humorous.

In partnership with Cringe Humor Entertainment, McFarlane’s fresh venture will give light to the most fascinating aspects of comedy events as they unfold, all auto-tuned through Miss Bonnie’s own one-of-a-kind perspective.

Speaking through a press release on the launch of this thoroughly awesome Cringe Humor-McFarlane joint, Cringe Humor’s CEO, Patrick Mulligan, had this to say: “Working with Bonnie is always a pleasure, even if she’s a bit high maintenance. But hey, she’s been on HBO so she must be doing something right.”

The debut episode of the so-called W5 series (dubbed for its attention to the who, what, when, where, and why of comedy) will roll out on May 25 (why, that’s today!), just in time to catch Lynn Shawcroft’s comedy special, airing on Sirius/XM Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy Channel this very week. For more info, mosey over to CringeHumor.net or W5comedy.com.
