Comedy Central and NY Comedy Fest extend their partnership

New York Comedy FestivalComedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival announced the two parties will continue their relationship for at least the next three years. Said marriage offers festival performers multimedia exposure on the network’s various outlets, from online video to the regular ol’ TV channel.

What’s this mean for us comedy fans? We’ll get to see stand-up specials, live streamed events, industry showcases, panel discussions and more.

The 2011 Festival runs Nov. 9 – 13, and the lineup will be announced in August – keep an eye out for it! Past performing comics include Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari, Ricky Gervais and Sarah Silverman.

So you know it’ll be good.
