A representative from Comedy Central tells Punchline Magazine that the planned roast of Kid Rock for the network will not happen.

Though the network announced in May the roast would film this summer and air late in the season, Kid Rock, at an unrelated press conference this morning in Michigan, heavily implied that it may not happen.

The rep confirmed to us that although there are currently no plans to film the Kid Rock roast, Comedy Central is open to working with the musician in the future.
