Alison Brie

Lizzy Caplan
There’s no shortage of great TV series gone before their time: Firefly, My So-Called Life, Veronica Mars. Tons more. We can find a recent example in Party Down, a Starz project centering on a Los Angeles-based catering company; it was canceled after just 20 episodes.
Our loss, big time.
Even if we can’t return to the original series, though, an upcoming project will feature two members of the Party Down ensemble. Martin Starr, also known as Bill Haverchuck on Freaks and Geeks (another show whose cancellation I am definitely not over), and Lizzy Caplan will appear in an independent romantic comedy called Save the Date.
Joining the erstwhile caterers will be Alison Brie, who stars in Community and Mad Men, and Geoffrey Arend, who appeared in (500) Days of Summer. The rom-com is still in the early stages, though, so keep your eyes out for more details in the future!
