Tracy Morgan’s been crazy busy since he performed some rather colorful, seemingly homophobic stand-up material in Nashville on June 3. In addition to apologizing all over the place, he’ll be returning to Tennessee on June 21 to say sorry for the material in person.
But actions might speak louder than words, so Morgan’s latest move to make amends should come as no surprise. The Hollywood Reporter informs us that, today in New York City, he met with homeless gay teens as well as families who have lost members to hate crimes. The whole meeting was arranged by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Here’s hoping he takes these actions and words to heart.
