Sandra Bullock to appear on Ricky Gervais’ new show, despite Golden Globe jokes

sandra bullockOscar winner Sandra Bullock has signed on to appear in Ricky Gervais’ new HBO comedy series.

Life’s Too Short a mockumentary following dwarf actor Warwick Davis as he runs a talent agency for little people will feature Bullock, who was the subject of a series of Gervais’ jokes when he controversially hosted the Golden Globe awards this past year.

“It just goes to show the sort of pull Ricky Gervais has,” a source told the UK’s Independent newspaper. “It shows that Sandra has her sense of humor intact and isn’t one to hold grudges.”

Johnny Depp has a cameo role in the show as well, with a source saying, “Johnny is a huge fan of Ricky’s and has a great sense of humor. He has wanted to work with Ricky for ages and this is it.”

Life’s Too Short was created by Gervais with frequent collaborator Stephen Merchant and stars Davis, Keith Chegwin, Les Dennis and Shaun Williamson. You can check out the trailer for the series here!
