Comedian Lisa Lampanelli has been a busy gal. Not only has she been touring the country doing stand-up, but she’s also been working on her one-woman Broadway show, which was announced last week. Today, however, we get the news that the “Queen of Mean” is also developing a new reality series for the Logo network.
The show, currently titled Big Loud Lisa, will center around the comedian’s recent role as new wife. “The series captures Lisa as she attempts to alter her life; going from a self-centered entertainer to a more focused and giving partner in her personal and professional lives,” according to Deadline, who broke the story.
The show is being produced by Chelsea Handler’s company Borderline Amazing Productions and Parallel Entertainment. Of course, the show is a long way from being officially placed on Logo’s schedule, but given Handler’s track record for getting shows into series, we’d say there’s a good chance this one will make it.
