Last week, we watched Patton Oswalt get kicked in the balls in his 5 Second Films debut. Shortly after the clip went live, Oswalt warned us that there would be more coming. He totally didn’t lie. Because this morning, another five seconds of Oswalt bliss was bestowed upon all of comedy nerdom.
And I’m starting to see a pattern develop. I’m no therapist, but it seems to me Patton is playing out some of his masochistic tendencies, as he’s severely punished in each of his films so far. Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Or, maybe I’m reading too much into it. Or, maybe — just, maybe — I’m reading too much into it.
