Dear, comedy nerds. Today is the day you order Showtime, (they’re giving $25 cash back when you subscribe) visit a friend who has Showtime or simply tune into the damn cable network because you already have Showtime. Why? Well, because The Green Room with Paul Provenza premieres tonight at 11 pm EST and you need to watch it.

If you don’t know about the show, the concept is pretty simple. In each episode, Provenza gathers together a handful of comedians — diverse as they come — and they talk about comedy and other shit. That’s it. And that’s why it’s awesome. The truth is, comedians are the most interesting artists out there and this show allows you to hang with them off stage. If you need more convincing, check out this swell behind-the-scenes video the fine folks at Buzzine put together. Do it!
