If you like Nick Swardson, you’re totally going to like the following words: Production has begun anew on the second season of Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time.

The show will premiere on Comedy Central on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 pm EST, so you’ll have to wait just a little longer to get your fix of gay robots and Garry Gaga.

What can we expect from these new episodes? Comedy Central head of original programming and production Kent Alterman says, “We sent Nick off to therapy after season one, so we’re confident he will be even more in touch with his dark, demented side for season two.”

And, of course, Nick is excited to be returning, in part because his show provides such a public service: “I feel that now, more than ever, our country needs to see a cat in a wheel chair doing cocaine. As do the children.” Truer words were never spoken.

Oh, hey. Let’s check out a clip from season one (featuring Natasha Leggero), just so you can remember what you’ve been missing since the show’s hiatus began.
