My favorite animated show about a fake, bumbling CIA-like agency finally has a premiere date for its new season. FX announced today that Archer, which features the voices of comedian Aisha Tyler, H. Jon Benjamin (who’s currently starring in Comedy Central’s Jon Benjamin Has a Van), Chris Parnell and Judy Greer, will debut Sept. 15 at 10:30 pm EST, but will then vanish after three weeks– only to reappear in early 2012 with 13 newer episodes.

You should also know, comedy fans, that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will return the same night as Archer at 10 pm EST while the third season of The League — starring the likes of Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer and Jon Lajoie — bows on Oct. 6.
