Imagine you sit down on your couch late Saturday morning, turn on your television, and discover — much to your surprise –- there’s a day-long marathon of your favorite show. Are any other moments so wonderful?
The $150,000 Tosh.0 Marathon, though, is a marathon of a different sort. Daniel Tosh hosted a treadmill marathon in Hermosa Beach, California, where several runners vied to run 26.2 miles as fast as they could manage, and the event aired last night on Comedy Central.
In typical Tosh.0 style, though, the treadmill runners didn’t just run. They were also blessed with a few performances – Todd Glass offered some stand-up, an improv group some sketch comedy, a magician made an appearance – and Tosh wandered around throughout to chat with the competitors. So it was pretty much exactly the same as a normal marathon. We won’t spoil the ending for you by telling you who wins, so take a look at the video yourself!
