Mary Tyler Moore is set to host a PBS tribute to The Ed Sullivan Show entitled Ed Sullivan’s Comedy Legends. The retrospective airs on Aug. 6 and will feature Ed Sullivan veterans such as Carol Burnett, Rich Little, Jackie Mason, Anne Meara, Carl Reiner, Joan Rivers and Jerry Stiller. The show will also feature next generation comedians like Joy Behar, Kathy Griffin, Arsenio Hall, Lisa Lampanelli, Richard Lewis, George Lopez, Ray Romano and recent twitter joiner Jerry Seinfeld.
In addition, the program will include Ed Sullivan Show performances by comedy legends such as George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Red Skelton, Flip Wilson and many more.
The network will air the program throughout the August pledge period. You should check your local listings for stations and times.
