Listen, I’m not one to say, “We told you so,” but when we (then, Punchline Magazine) said in 2009, that Myq Kaplan was a “comic to watch” we were pretty sure we’d end up being right. Since that time, Kaplan has finished in the top five of Last Comic Standing, released a masterful (yet, in my opinion, unfortunately titled) album Vegan Mind Meld, has made countless television appearances — you can count them; I’m being hyperbolic, ok? — and has pushed me out of the way of a speeding crosstown bus.*
The point is, Kaplan was on Conan last night and it was awesome and you should watch it.
Interesting side note about Kaplan’s joke about Pizza Hut; he once did a television spot for the company.
*Myq Kaplan did not do this.
