Although no official premiere date has been announced — we just know it’s going down this Fall — we finally got a first peek at the rebooted Beavis and Butt-Head. And it is good. In fact, the best part of the new version of the show — if the below five minutes are an accurate indication of the rest of the season — is that the MTV show hasn’t changed at all. Of course, the references are different; the boys tee off on Jersey Shore, for example.
At one point in this episode, B&B are checking out a recent episode of the reality show, where the Jersey Shore morons are creating a chalkboard list of all the people each one of them hooked up with. “This is like a family tree, if your family was made of whores,” Butt-Head says. “If they, like, did this chart long enough they could find out where herpes began.”
Well done, Mike Judge. Ok, sit back and enjoy the magic, comedy fans.
