Peter Parker has been placed in a pine box – or maybe not, but isn’t alliteration fun? Anyway, Parker has indeed kicked the can and the choice to replace him is causing quite a nerd stir on the Interwebs. A new half-Hispanic, half-Black Spider-Man makes his debut in the upcoming issue of Marvel Comics “Ultimate Fallout.” On Wednesday, Laughspin contributor Carrie Anderson delivered the scoop that part of the true inspiration behind the new Spider-Man hero is standout comedian Donald Glover. But Stephen Colbert, an alarmed and self-proclaimed “World’s Biggest” Spider–Man fan, weighed in on the situation delivering a stern warning about the disturbing precedent set by this new multiracial Spider–Man.
