Watch Russell Brand marry a couple, for real

When I got married nearly six years ago, my wife and I thought we were really sticking it to tradition when we (both raised Catholic) chose a female, Protestant minister to marry us. But that was nothing compared to the couple in this video, who decided it would be a good idea to allow comedian Russell Brand, who is, indeed an ordained minister (it’s not difficult to become one), do the deed during a stand-up show at a Santa Barbara, CA casino. “I am now and ordained minister and will wed people, of any gender, at all my gigs. No funerals,” Brand says in the video’s description. After watching this go down, I’m kind of regretful that my wife and I didn’t work any talk of blow jobs and remote controls into our wedding ceremony. Maybe it’s time we renew our vows.
