Video: Nick Thune will never forget what he did to Andy Richter

I probably don’t need to tell you how much it meant for a comic to get called over to the couch on Johnny Carson’s The Tonight Show. A quick tête-à-tête with Johnny could be a comedian’s big break, so they took it wicked seriously.

And, as it turns out, some take sitting on the couch with Conan O’Brien just as seriously. Nick Thune dropped this video that previews a documentary (yeah, really…) about his post-performance couch-sitting with Conan – which apparently did not go very well in his mind. Or in Andy Richter’s mind, as you’ll see from the clip. Here’s a piece of advice, guys: always shake Andy Richter’s hand.
