Remember the good ol’ days when the media was exhaustively reporting on Charlie Sheen, rather than a Hurricane? I miss those more innocent times. It looks like Charlie Sheen’s back in the news, though: Comedy Central just released the names of some of the folks involved in roasting the actor in a few weeks. Trust me on this: it’ll be a must-watch. Jon Cryer,Sheen’s former Two-And-A-Half Men (which premieres the night of the Roast) will also be tuning in. “I’m not participating in any way. I’ll DVR it, out of curiosity,” Cryer told Entertainment Weekly.
Joining Roast Master Seth MacFarlane so far is comedian Anthony Jeselnik, TMZ staffer Harvey Levin, Steve-O of Jackass fame, roast veteran Jeffrey Ross, and the baddest man on the planet, boxer Mike Tyson. Yeah. It’s going to be more than a little brutal. The Roast will tape on Sept. 10, but we won’t be able to check it out until Sept. 19. Worth the wait!
