You may already know this, but if you don’t, let me have the honor of telling you: John Goodman will join Joel McHale and co. on Community this year, as the dude (not The Dude) has a recurring role. NBC announced the news in late July, but this morning we finally got our first preview of the man in action, doing his Greendale thing as Vice Dean Laybourne, the head of the community college’s air conditioning repair school.
Goodman will appear in at least six episodes. As if I wasn’t looking forward to Community‘s Sept. 22 third season premiere enough, Goodman — who can do no wrong, in my opinion, just makes the anticipation worse (better)?
