We’ve been hearing vague details about the upcoming South Park documentary for weeks. The name of the program hadn’t even been announced. But today, we’re pleased to tell you it’s called 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park. And it has an official trailer, so you’ll be able to check out some clips from the completed film before it premieres on Oct. 9 at 10 pm ET.

Well-respected documentary filmmaker Arthur Bradford was given total access to the inner workings of the show, following Trey Parker, Matt Stone and co. at South Park Studios in Los Angeles for three months.

“We wanted to make something that would appeal to both the hard-core fans and the casual viewers,” Bradford says. “Trey and Matt are two of the most interesting people I know and the way they make South Park is completely fascinating and inspiring.”

So, let’s check out the trailer, shall we?
