If you’re the type of person who thinks music videos are dead, especially since MTV and VH1 hardly play them anymore, you’re mostly right. However, celebrated free-form radio host (WFMU’s The Best Show), writer, director, producer and comedy expert Tom Scharpling is bringing back the niche art form — almost single handedly — back from the grave. He actually tells funny stories as opposed to just planting the band or singer in front of different scenery.
