Watch Trey Parker and Matt Stone teach a film class at NYU

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker gave an extremely lucky class of freshman at New York University a surprise lecture as part of the MTVU show Stand In. I feel bad for the student who decided to skip that day.

It was the first day of this “Storytelling Strategy” class when students are introduced to the Tony and Emmy award winning duo. Trey and Matt run the class through a typical day in the South Park writer’s room, all the while giving advice on the art of story telling.

The appearance is one of many they’ve made recently including late night talk show spots and a 60 Minutes segment all in preparation for the 15th season of South Park which premieres tomorrow on Comedy Central.
