It’s been four years to answer the question: When will Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody make a movie together again? After the undeniable success of their collaboration on Juno, Reitman and Cody have had their own projects of varying success apart from each other, notably Reitman’s Up In The Air, which was nominated for multiple Oscars.
Luckily, Young Adult, a story about “the girl you hated in high school” coming back to reclaim the destiny she thinks she’s supposed to have, brought the two indie-comedy power players back together. With a cast comprised, in part, by Charlize Theron, Patrick Wilson and Patton Oswalt, there is definitely potential for another indie-darling smash hit.
