I love that Adult Swim celebrates weird comedy as much as they do. I mean, let’s get real – Aqua Teen Hungerforce? Sealab 2021? To say they’re quirky would be an understatement.
The latest in Adult Swim’s weirdness is a miniseries called The Heart, She Holler, starring Patton Oswalt and Kristen Schaal. I must admit –- and maybe this is just evidence of some problem with my brain –- I watched the newly-released video reel for the program more than once and remain pretty confused about what the hell it is. Here’s the thing, though: it looks like it’s going to be pretty great. There’s a town curse, tension about an inheritance, a ghost, lots of screaming and a manchild mayor who grew up in a cave. I think.
