Marlon Wayans has struck a deal with ABC to star and executive produce a hybrid single/multi-camera show. The show revolves around two brothers (both cops) who wind up living together. The character played by Marlon is married with kids and allows his brother to move in with them after he falls on hard times, according to Deadline.
The show length is unclear but most likely it will be a half-hour presentation. Not mentioned is the identity of who will play opposite Marlon but my money’s on it being a brother from another the same mother. Wayans is currently working with Jennifer Pryor and director Bill Condon on the Richard Pryor biopic titled Richard Pryor: Is It Something I said (????), to which he is attached to star.
Watch some the highlights from my favorite Marlon Wayans performance – as ‘Loc Dog’ in 1996′s urban parody Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
