A few weeks ago we learned that Tyler Perry was the highest paid man in entertainment last year, as he raked in $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011. Whether you love or hate the man’s work, you can’t deny that the dude makes some sound (economical) decisions. So, I guess he knew exactly what he was doing when he cast reality star and star of her own home porn flick Kim Kardashian to so-star in his next comedy feature film The Marriage Counselor. Deadline broke the news late yesterday.
Kardashian will play Ava, a friend and co-worker of the main character, Judith the marriage counselor, played by Friday Night Lights star Jurnee Smollett. Ava’s main charge, according to the report, is to give Ava a makeover and help her with her personal problems. Those personal problems? Married Judith ends up banging one of her clients. Shooting for the film begins Oct. 26 in Atlanta.
