Wasting no time, Comedy Central has ordered a third season of Workaholics, their hit slacker comedy series still in the midst of airing its second season. The show has been a major success for Comedy Central as the No. 1 show on TV for it’s time slot and demographic.

The network’s head of original programming and production, Kent Alterman, made the announcement today that the show would be coming back for another round of episodes. “It’s such an honor to be able to keep Workaholics going,” said Alterman. “We feel like the show is one, big public service announcement, teaching the youth of America how to engage with the workplace.”

The history of Comedy Central is a graveyard of short-lived, under-appreciated comedies that disappeared after one season, so investing in any new series the network airs can be emotionally risky for viewers. Fans of Workaholics working stiffs Blake (the weird one), Adam (the fun one) and Anders (the strait-laced one) are no-doubt breathing sighs of relief now that the show seems to have established itself.

Watch all-new second-season episodes of Workaholics Tuesdays at 10:30 pm ET on Comedy Central. Hey, let’s check out a sweet Workaholics clip now, shall we?
