Though it took the movie Puss in Boots to do it, Zach Galifianakis (he plays Humpty Dumpty in the animated flick) has gone back out on the late night circuit this week. Unlike when he was hosting Saturday Night Live a few months ago, Galifianakis has a little more room to be up to his hijinks. Zach tells the entire Jimmy Kimmel Live audience that he’s going to give them all cupcakes, punches through Conan’s desk instead of coming from behind a curtain to get on stage, and more.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t gives any inclination of if and when he’ll do stand-up again or when the next Between Two Ferns will be uploaded, which is what much of the comedy world is waiting for. Still, it’s a more than welcome sight to see Zach given the reins to the awkwardness on national television. Check out the pair of appearances below.
