Watch Zach Galifianakis talk Puss In Boots: “Dennis Rodman wrote Humpty Dumpty”

Tonight, the animated comedy flick Puss in Boots opens nationwide. And I just might go see it. There’s two reasons for this. The first is that I totally like sitting in a dark room drinking watered-down Diet Coke from a bucket. The other reason is that my nearly three-year-old son has not been handling the birth of his new brother all too well. So, the wife and I were thinking of taking the tyke to this joint, seeing as he loves the Shrek franchise– and pretty much anything Antonio Banderas has been involved in since we first let him watch the handsome actor brutally murder a bunch of people in Desperado. The point is, maybe the little dude will feel special if we take him — and not his brother — to a big-deal movie event. And maybe that will make him feel special enough so that next time he sees his grandmother, he won’t slap her in the face.

The other reason I may go see it is because Zach Galifianakis voices Humpty Dumpty. And because Amy Sedaris voices Jill. Right, I know. That’s three reasons. Oh, and here’s a really funny interview with Zach Galifianakis, wherein he chats with Matt Zaller, who, over the last few years, has become known as the dry-witted guy who interviews movie stars in an awkward fashion. I find him funny. So there.
