Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock comedy tour a possibility

Question: How fast would tickets to a Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle comedy tour sell out? We may soon find out if we’re to believe a recent tweet from Rock. In response to a short piece on Humor Mill, citing unnamed sources saying that the two comedians are currently working on new stand-up material in preparation for a possible comedy tour together, Rock said the following:

If this comes to fuition, it will go down as one of the biggest comedy events of the decade. I just hope they do it right. Rock and Chappelle could surely sell out giant theaters and mid size arenas (depending on the market). But, hopefully promoters and producers will resist the urge and instead find a way to bring both huge-name comics to large clubs and small theaters that can accommodate no more than a few hundred comedy fans.

This would be a great combo. Both are sharp, quick and intelligent. That show would leave crowds mesmerized. Though I think its like googling google. Somewhere a wormhole will manifest. But even if the wormhole was the downfall of society, I say obesity, and American politicians take a back seat, and bring on the funny.

Promoters would NEVER put this show in venues that hold “a few hundred comedy fans”.
