Can someone please explain to me what was “racist,” and/or “horrible” about what Jon Stewart said about Hermain Cain the other night on The Daily Show? After Stewart calls out Cain for his ridiculous explanation as to whether he’s ever had to settle a claim for a sexual misconduct complaint levied against him, Donald Trump labeled Stewart as racist and says he has done a horrible thing and has offended African Americans.
Here’s what went down: Stewart threw to a Fox News clip where an anchor asks Cain, a Republican presidential hopeful, if he ever had to dole out money to settle a claim for the aforementioned reason. The former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza explains that, “Outside of the Restaurant Association, absolutely not.” Stewart points out that the Restaurant Association claim is the exact one that the media is talking about– and that you can’t just deflect the issue by saying, something akin to, ‘Besides the one everyone is talking about, no!’ Stewart’s comments come about the 3:20 mark.
In response to this, Trump sent one of his famous video dispatches from his office, calling Stewart out. What the fuck is he talking about? What’s racist about the above video? Watch his ridiculous rant below, and let us know what you think? Was Stewart being racist? Did he do a horrible thing? Is Trump out of his fucking mind?
