Patton Oswalt’s tome Zombie Spaceship Wasteland was released in January in hardcover. But check this out: it’s been released again– this time without that pesky hard cover. What the fuck is that made out of anyway– steel? Goddamn, I can barely lift it. Thankfully, it’s now available in a soft cover version. And Oswalt, being the consummate professional, is not sitting idly by hoping this new floppy book will just sell itself. The dude is out on the road knocking on doors, talking to babies and eating people’s homemade pies.
As part of The Onion‘s A.V. Club‘s “Reader Meets Author” series, the comedian hung out with a hip librarian mom and her friends and family in Chicago and delivered a reading from his book. It looked totally fun. Check it out.
