Comedian Owen Benjamin is getting on a plane.
Actually, Benjamin will be boarding many planes– as many as he can in a month’s time in order to set a new world record for the most airports visited in 30 days by a passenger. His Funny on the Fly tour started today, and he’ll be documenting it with photos, videos, and tweets. “As a comedian, I like to inject the fun in every situation,” says Benjamin. “With Funny on the Fly, I’m taking that to a whole new level.”
The Funny on the Fly project also serves to promote the Lenovo-brand tablet computer that Benjamin will use as his primary tool in documenting his travels. Fans who follow his trip on the Funny on the Fly website will have chances to win their own tablets, as well as gift cards, airline tickets, and reward points that Benjamin will accumulate over the next month as a frequent flier.
Benjamin kicked off his adventure today, taking off from Dallas and will finish his travels as a world-record holder on Dec. 20 when he lands in Raleigh, N.C. You can check out Benjamin talking about the project below!
