Jeff Dunham engaged to fitness model

Comedian and hugely successful ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is set to marry his girlfriend of two years, fitness model Audrey Murdick. He announced the news last night onstage in Columbus, OH at the Nationwide Arena, telling his fans he popped the question to Murdick on Christmas Day.

Dunham, 49, then reconfirmed his intentions today on Twitter, excitedly writing about his 31-year-old bride to be: “Hey everyone! On Christmas Day, @AudreyMurdick & I got engaged! Big date TBA…”

Soon after, Murdick (pictured to the right) made her own announcement: “… @JeffDunham and I got engaged!! Yay!! Big date TBA. I’m so happy & excited…”

This will be Dunham’s second bride. He split from wife Paige Brown after 14 years of marriage and began dating Murdick in 2009, who is also his nutritionist. Dunham has three daughters – Bree, Ashlyn and Kenna – from his first marriage.

The news of his engagement to Murdick caps off yet another giant year for the comedian. In September, his fourth comedy special Controlled Chaos premiered to 5.5 million viewers on Comedy Central, which made it the highest-rated stand-up special of the year. And just last month, Jeff Dunham: Birth of a Dummy premiered on the Biography Channel to 1.2 million viewers, making it the most-watched telecast for the network of all time.

Check your facts… Dunham did NOT begin dating her 2 years ago. He began dating her during his marriage. She is not a fitness model she’s a waitress/body builder who waited on the then married Dunham while he was with his wife! she took a job to travel with Jeff and carry on their Adulterous affair. Oldest job in history???

  I keep seeing people spewing the same theory and supposition concerning Mr. Dunham’s relationship with Ms. Murdick, and here we see it again with this “TruthTeller”.
  
  So now I ask for your proof, references, etc. Where do you get your facts? What inside connection do you have other than her blog and MySpace page? I’m calling you out on this and ask you to prove it or STFU. I don’t know either of them but from reading her blog, MySpace it is clear to me she’s bitter and just a little unstable while he’s remained silent, obviously moving on. I look forward to your response/proof. ;o)

Jeff met Audrey when he was struggling to deal with the fact that his wife at the time had engaged in an affair – the tawdry, sordid details of which I will refrain from discussing here – but it was disgusting. Jeff and Audrey did indeed then strike up a relationship which evolved into love. In the big picture, who can blame the guy? His ex had already ruined their lives together forever.

  Audrey was not Jeff’s first affair, and as Dr Phil always says.. “Past behavior is the best predictor of Future behavior”… so it’s pretty certain between the two of them, Jeff and Audrey’s marriage will be blessed with LOTS of Karma! Paige should feel lucky to be out of that!

Jeff started having affairs early on in their marriage. Audrey wasn’t the first!! At least his ex admits to her mistakes. Jeff put his career first and his wife last. Being apart that much is extremely difficult for any relationship. They are both in happier relationships, wish them well and leave the past in the past!

Jeff you really messed up dude. You will regret this, I know as a fact being from a divorced family. I know you will regret this. I am sorry to tell you though due to the fact that it’s too late to change anything, I am a fan. As a fan, and someone who buys your products… I am on your side. I just want you to be careful not to forget what’s most important: your own flesh and blood: your daughters. And, be careful not to go too fast with Audrey and have more kids before yours are fully functioning independently. Because, like I said you will regret it otherwise.
