So, it’s no surprise that Universal is working on a sequel to the wildly successful Bridesmaids. But here’s the thing. Kristen Wiig told the Hollywood Reporter recently that she has no interest in reprising her starring role in a second version of Bridesmaids. And a rep for Universal has said, “We are over the moon with the success of Bridesmaids, and if we do a sequel we want to get it right.
