Bravo loves Kathy Griffin. For nearly 10 years, the comedian has been a constant presence on the cable network, with stand-up specials, a reality show and hosting duties. Now Griffin’s relationship with the network will continue with her latest project, a late-night talk show.
Kathy will be a one-hour, weekly talk show with interviews and stand-up comedy and everything else you’ve seen on late-night talk shows for decades and decades, although this one will probably feature a lot more catty commentary about celebrities. Also, our fingers are crossed that Griffin will invite Anderson Cooper to her couch semi-regularly, because we shouldn’t have to wait for New Year’s Eve to watch her make him delightfully uncomfortable.
In addition to the new talk show, Bravo will broadcast two new Kathy Griffin stand-up specials this year, her 88th and 89th for the network since 2004. (It kind of feels that way, doesn’t it?)
