The time is almost here, folks: 30 Rock‘s new season premieres tomorrow at 8 pm ET on NBC! And to celebrate, Tina Fey — Liz Lemon, herself — dropped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night; and in her 16-minute appearance, she accomplished a great many things.
First thing’s first. Tina settled a misunderstanding with Roots drummer and Fallon’s bandleader Questlove. As is the case with most disagreements, the solution came in the form of a giant, meat-filled sandwich. Check it out.
Next Tina talks about her trying to lose the last few pounds of her baby weight. Remember, she recently gave birth to her second daughter, Penelope. And since she has no plans to get knocked up again, she went all out and decided to have fun packing on the pounds. For our amusement, she details the juice cleanse she attempted to jump start the weight loss. Oh, and she talks about the new season of 30 Rock and shows a clip. Do it!
In the third and fourth segments, Tina and Jimmy welcome two audience members onto the stage to play Speed Celebrity. It’s like a cross between Million Dollar Pyramid, charades and yelling out famous people’s names. Watch to the end to see who wins!
