In the midst of all this election commentary on late night television, you might have missed that The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has brought in a new correspondent to its friendly confines. Jessica Williams made her debut reporting on the GOP primary in South Carolina alongside Aasif Mandvi and Jason Jones. And, of course, her first assignment is such a lovely, pleasant gig that it ends in her begging, “Please fire me.” Take a look, y’all!

Never heard of her before but she was funny in this segment. I know Al Madrigal is supposed to be joining the Daily Show cast too. I wonder when his first appearance will be.

It took her three sentences to play the race card.  Pretty lame that every black correspondent focuses on race.
