I’m ridiculously thankful that sites like Wikipedia and Reddit are back online following their Jan. 18 blackout protest of SOPA and PIPA, two bills that threaten the open Internet.
Why am I so thrilled?
Aside from the fact that I can once again procrastinate by learning detailed-but-trivial information, it looks like Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim – the duo behind the absurdly surreal comedy series Tim and Eric: Awesome Show, Great Job! and the upcoming film Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie – will be participating in a Q & A session on Reddit’s AMA message board. And they even sent out an incredibly beautiful “save-the-date” graphic (see above).
They’ll be answering questions in real time from users on Friday, Jan. 27 at 9 am PST, to coincide with the day their flick will be available through Video On Demand. Billion Dollar Movie hits theaters March 2. Anyone with an account can submit questions and comments, so just hop on over to Reddit.com to get in on it! You can even start talking about Tim and Eric on Reddit now.
