Last night, Ricky Gervais visited the Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote his new HBO series, Life’s Too Short, which premieres this Sunday at 10:30 pm ET. The faux-documentary series centers around British actor Warwick Davis (pronounced ‘Warrick), a dwarf known for his appearances in movies like Return of the Jedi (where he played one of the main Ewoks) and more recently, the Harry Potter films. But who needs to know all that? If you ask Gervais, certainly not the Daily Show‘s viewing audience.

In lieu of a proper pitch, Gervais headed up a seven-minute conversation about why Pandas are not having sex anymore, panda porn, pandas raping racoons and more stuff about pandas. And racoons. He even works in the phrase, “big, wobbly, spunk bomb.” As George Carlin once said, “I have no emotional stake in panda fucking.” Gervais, it seems, feels differently.
