We all remember the groundbreaking MTV reality series that followed the daily life of one of rock n’ roll’s most iconic figures and his family. Running from 2002 through 2005, The Osbournes gave us the chance to learn a lot about Ozzy Osbourne, namely that he’s lovable even though he’s full of pills and can barely speak. Since then, most of the family have enjoyed mainstream success on some level. Sharon is a co-host of CBS’ daytime chat-fest The Talk; daughter Kelly appears on the E! show Fashion Police and Ozzy has been seen in commercials and “co-wrote” three books.
But now the family is set to be back together on the small screen– if all goes according to plan. The animators behind MTV’s Celebrity Death Match (RIP) and Comedy Central’s current hit Ugly Americans is looking to produce The F’n Osbournes, an animated comedy based on the family, to be produced by son Jack and Sharon. Animation outfit Cuppa Coffee Studios is now shopping a 20-series order, according to Deadline.
