‘Community’ gets another life on Comedy Central

Well, even if Community doesn’t go to six seasons and a movie, it will likely live a long life on Comedy Central. The network, famous for syndicating popular sitcoms like Scrubs and 30 Rock, has struck a deal with Sony Picture Television to air Community reruns. Starting in the fall of next year, Comedy Central will air the first three seasons of the NBC cult favorite. As you undoubtedly know, the show returns from its hiatus tomorrow night at 8 pm on NBC to continue it’s third season.

“Within the chaos of the current media landscape we are fortunate that we live in a timeline where Community comes to Comedy Central,” said Executive Vice President, Program Strategy. “Our staff is celebrating with a game of paintball in the offices today.

Paintball is cool, sure. But we all know foosball is where it’s at these days.
