We kind of already knew Portlandia was coming back to IFC for a third season, since Carrie Brownstein let it slip during an interview on an Australian radio station last week. But tonight, it became official in New York, as the network confirmed the news at their upfront presentations, which is where network’s formally announce their plans for the coming year.
The network also promised that it will air a one-hour special based on the already-classic season two finale centered around the concept of brunch; it’ll be called Portlandia: The Brunch Special (which had been previously reported). IFC will also unleash a 30-minute holiday special near the end of the calendar year. For now, let’s relive a moment from the current season’s finale. Enjoy!
