Last night, the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama appeared on The Colbert Report to bring awareness to Joining Forces, the national initiative she and Jill Biden (the Second Lady; is that a thing?) started a year ago. The organization helps returning soldiers transition into the private sector workforce. “These people are bringing in skills that would help the bottom line for companies,” Obama told Stephen Colbert.
The interview itself was pretty tame, although Colbert did get a dig in on Nancy Reagan’s anti-drug campaign from the 1980s. Check it out below.
