We already knew that Louis C.K.’s self-released comedy special Live at the Beacon Theater would air on FX in the future. What we didn’t know was when. Today FX announced that the wildly successful up-until-now digital-only special will air this Saturday at 10 pm EST.

So, what can you expect if you’re already streamed or downloaded the original version? Commercials, and editing for some language and an overall shorter presentation. In short, you are not the main demographic for this airing. Creating a television broadcast version of the already successful project will simply announce to a slightly more mainstream audience that this thing exists. And C.K., himself promises that FX will air plugs during the broadcast to push viewers to LouisCK.com so that they can download the full version.
