Parenthood star Dax Shepard writes, directs and co-stars in the upcoming action-comedy Hit and Run, alongside Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold and more. The road-trip comedy follows Charlie Bronson (Shepard), a former getaway driver who risks everything when he busts out of witness protection to drive his fiance (Bell) to Los Angeles to seize her dream job. The couple is chased by the feds (led by Arnold) and Charlie’s former associates, a band of gangsters (led by Cooper), making the trip increasingly complicated and dangerous.
The flick hits theaters Aug. 24. But you can watch the just-released trailer below!
