Founding member of Upright Citizens Brigade, Matt Besser is on tour to screen and support his new movie, Freak Dance. The movie stars Megan Heyn as vixen Cocolonia. Our heroine escapes her rich mother (Amy Poehler!) and learns to dance-fight in the streets with the help of aspiring best dancer, Funky Bunch (Michael Cassady). Together, Funky Bunch and Cocolonia must save the Fantaseez community (not sure what that is) from a lot of evil things, like Building Inspector General (Besser), Marijuana, and gang-banger dancers (those are the worst). It also features Tim Meadows, Horatio Sanz, Matt Walsh and more. Oh, and if it wasn’t clear — it’s a musical, too.
