Family Guy and its creator Seth MacFarlane have never shied away from controversy. And the latest headline-grabbing move related to the long-running animated series on Fox comes in the form of a print ad, designed to win over Emmy voters. MacFarlane tweeted the ad, explaining that this was “the Emmy ad the trades refused to run.” As you can see below, it’s the show’s main character, Peter Griffin — known for the occasional anti-semitic remark — delivering this message to the voting body: “Come on, you bloated, overprivileged Brentwood Jews. Let us into your little club.”
