In 2009, Eugene Mirman was asked to give a commencement speech for the graduating class of his high school, and just a few days ago he got to do it again at his Alma Mater Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. The comedian and co-star of Fox’s animated hit Bob’s Burgers managed to deliver a speech that disparaged the school and its uber-liberal graduating class of “hipsters and self-righteous hippies” for several minutes– and at the same time, delivered a speech that was also personal, hilarious and strangely inspiring.
